In considering the significance of Zeitgeist: The Movie as a cultural phenomenon it is astonishing to realize the magnitude and scope of the upcoming Z Day event!!! Following a quiet, humble, anonymous release (on the Internet) of a well-crafted, provocative, contentious movie, a simple request was made suggesting ordinary people take some initiative and help promote awareness for the film. The result is an international phenomenon of epic proportions, eclipsing even the most ardent efforts of the entertainment industries’ largest studios and powerhouse distributors.

Z Day is remarkable and noteworthy by virtue of being the largest simultaneous international exhibition of a movie in recorded history.
Even if one does not appreciate the content and subject matter of Zeitgeist: The Movie, its significance as a cultural phenomenon is awe-inspiring, and is indicative of the world-transforming power inherent in the Internet.
Z Day 2009 the Movement Continues (Update)
Following the release of Zeitgeist: The Movie, producer/director Peter Joseph released Zeitgeist: Addendum. There is presently a movement underway to re-create the success of the original 2008 Z Day event again in 2009. The Z-day event was held in March of 2008.
It is unfortunate the Z-day page has been removed from the website, it was truly amazing to see how many locations around the world scheduled a viewing of Zeitgeist. Unbelievable!!

If you have ever designed, engineered, or built anything — you will know that the end result often only vaguely resembles the original plan. Project Venus aims high at an advanced society, that as you aptly comment, will likely have a lot of opposition. However, somewhere between here and there is a place where hopefully enough people will chose to live peacefully in a manner that prevents our own utter destruction. I am willing to bet that it won’t look exactly like what the producers of the Zeitgeist series have illustrated… but hopefully it will be close enough that we can break our current cycle of hatred and destruction.

Why shouldn’t we people of the world, just pick up our whole load of dinheiro held in the sist-ema bankário and keep it at home? just safety keep it back at our own homes?
